I had a good walk around the Muriel Jones Field last week. We have some excellent plots on the site and it’s good to see that many members have made such great progress.
However, the warm and wet weather of the last couple of months has made the grass shoot up. While the Association will mow the main paths, it’s up to members to keep the grass on their plots down to a reasonable level. This is what you agreed to do when you took on your plots.
The next few months are a good time to get the ground clear and to get some compost into the soil, ready for the next growing season. Good luck with your growing.
