I spotted these healthy over-wintering broad beans at Muriel Jones Field yesterday afternoon.There’s nothing quite like an Autumn sowing for ensuring an early crop next year.
It will be interesting to see how they do over the winter. The plot holder has used an extended windbreak to provide some protection from the worst of the weather.
