The raised beds at Welshmill allotments are now ready for planting. They will be made available to residents from Rossetti House and to allotment holders who need a more manageable plot. It’s all part of Frome Allotment Association’s outreach work, which has benefitted from the financial backing of the Frome Development Community Interest Company.

The following photographs show how the project developed under the leadership of Neil Cameron and Andy Wilson. The stacks of wood were frozen together and flakes of snow touched the faces, but it was a bright sunshine day.
