We believe you should know what data we collect from you and how we use it. You should also have control over it.

We are publishing our Privacy Policy in preparation for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which will apply from 25 May 2018.

The Policy.

We will not share your personal data with any other organisation.

The Waiting List

When you add your name to the waiting list we collect your name, email address, phone number and postal address. This is the only data we collect. We use this information to establish that you are resident in Frome and to contact you when a plot becomes available.

If you wish to remove your name from the waiting list, or to update your details, then please contact us at info@fromeallotments.co.uk

Members of Frome Allotment Association.

When you are allocated a plot you automatically become a member of Frome Allotment Association.

We use your data in order to fulfil our contractual obligations in providing you with a plot. We will invoice you via your postal address, and we will contact you with regard to matters affecting your plot via email or telephone.

When you cease to be a member of Frome Allotment Association, we will delete your data within one month.


If you send an email to us we will retain a copy.


The newsletter is available to members and anyone who is interested in what is happening at Frome Allotment Association. It is an opt-in newsletter and subscribers can remove their name from the list via the link in the newsletter.
