In 2014, 2015 and 2016 we ran a similar course at Welshmill for parents at St Louis and Vallis schools. Here is what the course members said:

“I appreciated the advice and the encouragement to try something new – and to get my children interested in growing and eating new foods mainly because they have grown them themselves.”

“I really enjoyed the course. I’m now eating my own courgettes, spinach and lettuce. The sense of achievement is incredible. It is a great stress release and a fantastic way to engage with the local community. I had never grown anything in my life before.”
